It inhibits the uptake of thiamine by coccidian. It acts chiefly upon 1st generation schizont preventing differentiation of merozoites.
It is used to treat coccidiosis in poultry.

Dosage:
Chickens
Prevention: 1 g per 2 liters of water continuously for 3-5 days.
Treatment: 1 g per 1 liter of water continuously for 3-5 days.
