Doxycycline Hyclate is a bacteriostatic antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline class. It exerts its antimicrobial effect by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, preventing the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the mRNA-ribosome complex. This inhibition disrupts protein synthesis, effectively halting bacterial growth and replication. Doxy-K-500 Vet Powder is indicated for the treatment of:

Respiratory Tract Infections: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) involving secondary bacterial pathogens, Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida), Infectious Synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae).
Gastrointestinal Tract Infections: Mycoplasma synoviae (MS) infections, Egg Apex Abnormality Syndrome (EAAS) associated with mycoplasmal infections.
Swine: Respiratory and gastrointestinal tract infections caused by susceptible bacterial and mycoplasmal pathogens. Doxy-K-500 Vet Powder provides broad-spectrum efficacy, making it a reliable choice for managing bacterial and mycoplasmal infections in poultry and swine, ensuring improved health and productivity.

Purpose and Conditions of Use:

It is indicated for the treatment of the gastro-intestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infection. Also used to treat the diseases such as CRD, CCRD etc.

Withdrawal time: For meat (Poultry) 7 days

Dosage:

Chickens: 1 g per (2-4) liter of water continuously for 3-5 days.
Note: The pH 5 of water enhances the activity, thus acidic water should be used.
Or as per the recommendation of the Veterinarian.
