KPDox-N Powder

Doxycycline Hyclate and Neomycin Sulphate combination is a synergistic antimicrobial formulation designed to target bacterial infections through dual mechanisms of action. Doxycycline Hyclate, a bacteriostatic tetracycline antibiotic, reversibly binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, preventing the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the mRNA-ribosome complex. This inhibition disrupts protein synthesis, effectively halting bacterial growth. Neomycin Sulphate, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and interferes with the initiation complex, causing misreading of the mRNA and leading to bactericidal effects.

KPDox-N Powder is indicated for the treatment of:

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) involving secondary bacterial pathogens, Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida).
  
  
• Gastrointestinal Tract Infections: Mycoplasma synoviae (MS) infections, Egg Apex Abnormality Syndrome (EAAS) associated with mycoplasmal infections.
