Levofloxacin is a potent fluoroquinolone antibiotic that exerts its bactericidal effect by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV enzymes. These enzymes are essential for introducing single-strand breaks into bacterial chromosomes and resealing them during DNA supercoiling. By disrupting this process, levofloxacin prevents bacterial DNA replication and transcription, leading to rapid cell death.

KP-Levoflox Solution is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections, including:

Gastrointestinal Tract Infections: Colibacillosis (Escherichia coli), Salmonellosis (Salmonella spp.).
Respiratory Tract Infections: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) involving secondary bacterial pathogens, Infectious Coryza (IC) (Avibacterium paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (FC) (Pasteurella multocida).
Other Infections: Urinary tract infections, Infectious Synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae).

KP-Levoflox Solution offers broad-spectrum efficacy, ensuring effective management of bacterial infections and supporting optimal animal health and productivity.

Purpose and Conditions of Use:

It is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections, including gastrointestinal tract infections, respiratory tract infections. Also used against Coryza, CRD, CCRD, Salmonella etc.

Withdrawal time: For meat 28 days

Dosage:

Chicken: 1 ml per 1 liter of water for 5-7 days.
Or, as per the recommendation of the Veterinarian.
