Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms. This mechanism prevents the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the ribosome, effectively disrupting protein production and inhibiting bacterial growth.

Otcyclin-WS Powder is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in poultry, including:

Respiratory Tract Infections: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) involving secondary bacterial pathogens.
Gastrointestinal Tract Infections: Colibacillosis (Escherichia coli), Salmonellosis (Salmonella spp.).
Other Infections: Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida), Infectious Synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae).

This broad-spectrum antibiotic ensures effective management of bacterial infections, supporting poultry health and productivity.

Purpose and Conditions of Use:

It is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections, including gastrointestinal, respiratory, CRD, Coryza, Fowl Cholera etc.

Withdrawal time: For meat 7 days

Dosage:

Chicken: 1 g per 1-2 liter of water continuously for 3-5 days.
Or, as per the recommendation of the Veterinarian.
