Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms. This mechanism prevents the attachment of aminoacyltRNA to the ribosome, effectively disrupting protein production and inhibiting bacterial growth.

Otcyclin-WS Powder is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in poultry, including:

Respiratory Tract Infections: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) involving secondary bacterial pathogens.
Gastrointestinal Tract Infections: Colibacillosis (Escherichia coli), Salmonellosis (Salmonella spp.).
Other Infections: Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida), Infectious Synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae).

This broad-spectrum antibiotic ensures effective management of bacterial infections, supporting poultry health and productivity.

Purpose and Conditions of Use:

It is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections, including gastrointestinal, respiratory, CRD, Coryza, Fowl Cholera etc.

Withdrawal time: For meat 7 days

Dosage:

Chicken: 4 g per 1 liter of water continuously for 3-5 days.
Or, as per the recommendation of the Veterinarian.
